Ben Alcorn
Personal Trainer & Strength Coach
Ben is a NASM certified personal trainer, and an NC State graduate.
Ben’s fitness journey started by lifting weights with his dad when he was 12 years old. He then got into heavy lifting in high school through playing football and eventually pursued powerlifting. Ben is now a nationally ranked competitive powerlifter with a 1600lb+ total and several national records under his belt. Having had coaches help him obtain his goals along the way, he decided to become a certified personal trainer while in college to help others also reach their goals.
Ben’s philosophy towards training is that by gaining strength through utilizing barbell movements and supplementary exercises, one can improve their overall well-being and function in everyday life.
