Robert Ripley
Personal Trainer & Strength Coach
I'm a passionate strength and conditioning coach with a diverse background in CrossFit and high school athletics. My journey began in 2017, coaching at a local CrossFit gym in Arizona while simultaneously assisting the Fountain Hills High School football team. Over the years, I've gained valuable experience in various coaching roles, from leading foundational classes to specialized training programs.
I'm committed to a holistic approach to fitness, prioritizing proper movement mechanics and a methodical progression towards strength and power. My training philosophy is rooted in the principles of renowned strength coaches like Louie Simmons, Joey Bergles, Matt Rhea, and Mike Israetel. While I've embraced the CrossFit methodology, I recognize its limitations and strive to incorporate a balanced and individualized approach.
During my time as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Fountain Hills High School, I successfully implemented training programs that prioritized injury prevention and performance enhancement. I'm proud to have contributed to a culture of excellence and safety within the team.
I hope to carry forward this commitment to safety and progress as I work with personal training clients. By focusing on proper form, gradual increases in intensity, and individualized programming, I aim to help each client achieve their unique fitness goals while minimizing the risk of injury.
